As we are gearing up to running the first ever pilot QF in Split, we are already looking ahead to our first cohort of cities which run after.
We are looking for multiple cities and municipalities which are interested in applying QF in their budget allocation programs. Candidates should be forward thinking, with track record of running innovative urban projects and/or participative budgeting programs. Besides that, what we are looking for in proposals, in no particular orde:
- unique, and interesting use-cases which would showcase new ways QF could be used
- already running and popular participatory budgeting programs which would implement QF
- partnerships between multiple institutions and municipalities
- programs led jointly by cities and grass-roots citizen associations, NGOs or businesses
- locations with high level of crypto penetration
If you are considering nominating your city, please fill out this form:
If you are not sure if you should apply, or how to do it, feel free to book a call with us, and we will help as much as we can.
What is Quadratic Funding (QF)?
Quadratic funding is a new way of getting funding and deciding how to allocate budgets. It allows citizens to donate to their favorite projects, and through donations, impact how much funding from the city’s budget will go to these projects. The more donations the project gets, the more funding from the city they get.
